Kaitlyn works as a researcher for FEM, deepening our understanding of the geographic areas to which we could impactfully expand our family planning campaigns, and potential new topics for campaigns. She also provides generalist capacity, in particular within programmes.

With curiosity and openness to exploring diverse fields and a focus on data-driven decision making, Kaitlyn aims at creating effective impact through her work. She is an experienced data scientist and researcher with a background in geospatial analysis, data engineering, and cost-effectiveness analysis. Previously, Kaitlyn worked as a data scientist/engineer at Data Exploration and Integration Lab (DEIL), a geospatial unit within  Statistics Canada. She holds a Master of Data Science from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelors of Medical Sciences from The University of Western Ontario.
